Introduction ·
Goals of the Course:
In-depth investigation of high schools. Broadly for us to think about what
high schools do, how they’re organized, why they’re organized, what
constitutes a good high school, what works, what doesn’t work, what are key
issues. There are 3 areas of focus to
the course. 1.
examination of
current high school practices 2.
examining
models for reforming/changing high schools 3.
identifying
what we can we do to change/improve schools National Governors Association ·
