Introduction to Research Methods

Welcome to the COM 200 page.  I hope you find the resources gathered here useful.  Let me begin by telling you what is NOT on the site and why.  First, I don't have a lot of links to each method we will discuss.  Ideally, teachers, like parents, help you grow so we are appreciated but no longer needed.  Ultimately, you need to learn to search the web for trustworthy sources on these methods.  Finding what you need is a key to success in this class, and in life.  Second, I generally don't put my PowerPoint or lecture notes on the site.  Listening skills, note taking skills and attendance are critical life skills that should be rewarded.  Please visit during my office hours or email me if you want clarification or missed something in a class you attended.
