One of the best ways to really "get" a method is to read an article that applies that method.  The articles we will read are all about the same basic topic: teacher-student interactions.  I think this is something we can all relate to and that might help us process the articles more easily.  In addition, but sticking with the same basic topic, I hope it will be easier to see how each method differs from the others.  Please answers the questions on the worksheet in preparation for class discussion.  I will rarely collect them, but will do so if folks are blowing them off.  What I will do is have response pad questions based on them.  Understand that the greatest value will be a deeper understanding of the method and that will help you on the probes and exams as well.  I would GREATLY value your feedback on these worksheets and how to make them the best learning tool possible for COM 200.
