Ahmed ElSaid

About Me


I am a Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, UNCW. I hold a Computing and Information Sciences Ph.D. from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Before starting my Ph.D. prgram, I finsiehd an M.Sc. degree in computer science and a B.Sc. degree in aerospace engineering, beside working several years in the civil aviaion industry.

My research focus is on predictions based on time series data using machine learnning and artificial intellegence. In addition, I also collaborated with computer vision and embedded systems projects

My aim is to bridge the gap between engineering and computing, in the engineering realm in general, and in aerospace engineering specificly.
