GOOD BY UBEDA-
ON THE WAY TO CORDOBA & SEVILLA
June 10
We met in front of SAFA at 8:00 a.m. to say good buy to the host families. It was harder than we thought it would be. There were many tears and sooo many hugs until the bus driver finally said we needed to hop on the bus. I have no pictures of the good bye moment, we were crying so much I never saw the moment to take a picture. I think it is better this way so we can always remember the smiles and good times we had. |
AFTER AN ALL NIGHT PARTY
CORDOBA
Unfortunately even though I tried to plan as good as I could I did not realized that the Mezquita de Cordoba would be closed Sunday until 3 p.m. We were lucky to see the outside but could not go inside. We were able to see Los Reales Alcazares, the gardens are stunning. We also went to a bullfight that night in La Plaza de Toros de La Maestranza. No one stayed for the entire 3 series of bulls or corridas, it is too violent and graphic to resist. It was also extremely hot. It was not the best experience but it was absolutely a cultural one. In my opinion everyone should attend a bullfight in Spain at least once. |
