  • About the Locations

Our program “home base” is the sister cities of Valparaíso (Valpo) and Viña del Mar. Located on the Pacific Ocean, Valpo is one of the world´s most picturesque cities. It is a city of hills (cerros), and has a magnificent harbor. Ride the ascensores (cable cars), they go steeply up the cerros. Lovely Viña is ten minutes away, and is where you live with your host families. Viña has world-class beaches, great cafés and restaurants, and is super-walkable.

  • Student Testimonials

This summer has changed me from the inside out.  Leaving this perfect place gets me choked up...and I'm not even a cryer. ... it was the best change of scenery/pace I could have ever imagined.  And the friends I've made here? I am forever grateful.  This program is more than I ever hoped or dreamed, and I will do everything I can to promote it to every single breathing student on the campus of UNCW. Thank you, thank you
