About Me
I was born in a one room log cabin in Kentucky in 1824. Ha ha, I am joking, but it is not too far off. You have to get to know me to hear the story :-) I was born in KY by the way.
I am an associate professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington School of Social Work. I teach practice and field as my primary courses as well as electives in private practice development, narrative counseling, and I am currently developing a course in employee assistance counseling and management.
Before coming to UNCW I worked at the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville where I worked in various research and practice capacities. I contributed to and participated in grant projects
