UNCW CHL

The UNCW Coastal Hydrology Laboratory (CHL) is a research group motivated by a desire to understand how surface water (SW) and groundwater (GW) interact near the land-water interface and how they affect the biogeochemistry of surface and sub-surface waters at different time and spatial scales. Our ultimate goal is to provide fundamental knowledge, data, and tools that can be used by researchers to advance the science and be used by policy makers and managers to make informed decisions while educating future scientists and informed community members.

Dr. Peter B. Zamora leads CHL under the Center for Marine Science and Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences (EOS) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW).
