For as long as I can remember I've loved the ocean and salty coastal air. Lakes not so much... something about the smell of algae. I grew up in a construction company, knowing very little about ocean careers--outside of commercial fishing. After several years of laboring in various trades, I returned to school and soon discovered physics and physical oceanography. Here we are 10+ yrs later.
