 Bryan Messina - General Psychology M.A. (2012) - Thesis:  The effects of caffeine on subjective levels of intoxication in a blood alcohol discrimination paradigm. Earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University. Currently Works as Clinical Psychologist at the Veterans Administration San Diego Healthcare System.

 Michael Mathews - Psychology M.A. (2014) Thesis:  Effects of Methoxetamine on a Multiple FR 30 FI 240s Schedule of Food Reinforcement. Currently a Ph.D. student at West Virginia University 

 Derek McMullen - Psychology B.A. (2013) Thesis: A Deposit Contract Intervention to Increase Physical Activity. Finished M.S. in Industrial Organization Psychology at University of Central Florida.  Currently employed at Duke Energy as a Change Management Analyst. 

 

 

Psychology Department

Psychology is a basic and applied science, health profession, and undergraduate liberal arts major. The UNCW Psychology Department supports outstanding Undergraduate, Master of Science (M.S.), and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.

Psychology Ph.D. 

Our Ph.D. Program offers concentrations in General Clinical Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis and Psychological Science .  I will consider taking students in any of these programs.  

Psychology M.S.

Our Masters program has concentrations in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychological Science, and Neuroscience and Behavior.  I take students in the masters of applied behavior analysis or psychological sciences concentrations.
