Welcome to my website! I'm an experimental psychologist specializing in Behavior Analysis, particularly in translational and applied approaches. My research encompasses a wide range of topics, including substance abuse, health behavior, experimental analysis of behavior, contingency management, behavioral economics, and the integration of artificial intelligence and biometrics in treatment.
Currently, my primary focus lies in the application of behavioral treatments known as contingency management programs and using machine learning to examine biometric data. These programs address various unhealthy behaviors, such as drug abuse, medical compliance, physical fitness, and dietary habits. By leveraging the power of contingency management, we can offer effective solutions to individuals seeking positive behavioral change. I'm part of the Brain Health Resilience HUB at UNCW, focusing on Substance Use and Data Science.
For prospective graduate students: I am interested in taking students for the Applied Behavior Analysis M.S. program. I will not be interviewing students for doctoral programs in the upcoming year. The link to the program descriptions are below.
