Review Materials
General:

Some practice test
materials -- of course this is much longer than the actual test.
On the actual test you will have a gnc, a dictionary form vocabulary, and a verb
analysis section, as well as translation sentences on a united theme
(for this test, it will be one of the labors of Hercules), plus a
few other things in forms similar to the exercises here.
Pronouns:
verb synopsis practice
sheet -- a number of blank forms for verb synopsis practive.
At this point, ignore the passive side. But if you like,
for the present system you can fill in the same stems for active
as for passive (i.e. up to the personal endings.
Comparatives and
Superlatives: Flash cards: A mixture of comparatives and
superlatives, using adjectives from Disce 1-20, including unusual ones.
You can do it for recognition, or switch definition then term to
practice actively.
Imperfect active
to imperfect passive: Flash cards.

voice. So fill out the active side only. Then, copy
everything but the actual personal endings (o, s, t, mus, tis, nt)
into the present, imperfect, and future blanks in the passive side.

- Have a look at
this scary but amazing chart of all the pronouns/demonstratives
etc. you have had (and some that you may never see). I was in
two minds about giving you this because it seems as though there are
a billion different declensions to learn, whereas actually there are
4 plus variations. But I decided to give it to you because if
you feel more confident having access to all the forms of the
demonstrative adjectives, then here they are. It's a pdf you
can print out if you want.
- Review personal pronouns and possessive
adjectives (pp.260-62).
- mylatinlabs will be up Tuesday night or
Wednesday morning and will be dure Thursday. I should also be
able to address the issues of certain exercises not working for
individuals. So if your problem is not fixed by class time
Wednesday, bring it up to me again and I will try to do it right
after class.

- macrons are now not required for an
answer to be considered correct.
- due dates are now 11:59 PM.
- "amnesty" now extended to Monday, 1/28.
But there is a bunch of stuff required by then so go ahead and do

- if you find that you are still having
problems with macrons or due dates, let me know.
- So far I have not figured out how to
deal with the "quality control" issue of a correct answer being
marked wrong (send me examples if you have them). I'm working
on it and if I can't change it, I'll figure out how to accommodate
it.
