Background and Avocation
I was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and spent over 25 years in adult education in the public and private sectors in the field of Training & Development before moving to North Carolina. My wife Barbara and I have two grown daughters, Marcella and Dana.Outside of the classroom, I love to cook (Italian Food) as often as possible and spend time looking at the Food Channel Network for new recipes. Someday, I’m looking forward to going back to Italy to spend some time learning to cook from some of the great Chefs there.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I first started taking drum lessons at the age of 10 and have played with many different bands while working my way through college. More recently, I have been singing at local restaurants around the Wilmington area providing dinner music offering an evening of “Frank Sinatra” songs. Just this past year, I have been studying voice here in our Music Department at the University.
