Background and Avocation
Phil
Bruschi, M.S. has been a college instructor, training consultant,
author and accomplished speaker for more than 25 years. With a master’s
degree in communications from Murray State University, he has served as
a training manager and HR director in areas of government, education
and the corporate world. Phil has been a faculty member in the
communication, business and continuing education departments at several
colleges in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and has taught in the Cameron
School of Business at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He
currently teaches Public Speaking and Small Group Communications
at
the University in the Communication Studies Department. He also is part
of the University’s Leadership Team for the Office of Professional
Education where he designs and conducts customized business training
programs.
Phil also has a consulting firm specializing in mind and memory enhancement and healthy aging
programs. Phil’s extensive experience in the fields of Training and
Development has given him opportunities to design, develop and conduct
programs in interpersonal communications, supervision and management,
performance management, leadership and customer service. Other
experience includes coaching for improved performance, training needs
assessment and other performance consulting within the organizational
development field.
Phil is the author of books and CD learning
series on memory enhancement and has published numerous articles on
effective communication and memory comprehension. He has served on the
Executive Board of the National Speakers Association Mid-Atlantic
Speakers Association.
