Your Photo Session
My style is simple and natural, using available light to capture your child's unique personality. When shooting outdoors, the best light is in the early evening a few hours before sunset, or in the morning hours, shortly after sunrise.
When choosing clothing for your session, avoid loud prints or clothing with characters on them. Think about what you want displayed on your walls. Group photography looks best when everyone is semi-coordinated. For example, have everyone in jeans or khakis and different colors of bright-toned shirts (or pastels, jewel-tones etc.). I also recommend avoiding t-shirts, or shirts with short sleeves.
I recommend not scheduling important events immediately before or after your session to ensure that we have enough time to capture you and/or your child at their best! With babies and small children, feel free to let me know of their schedule so we can be sure not to have your appointment right before or during naptime. Make sure to feed your child before the session, too. Happy, rested children ensure great photo sessions!
If you wish to allow us to showcase selected photos from your photo session on this website and in print promotional materials, please sign the model release form. I'll pick it up when I meet with you. I appreciate it!
Session Rates and Services
Please look over the available portrait session packages and choose the one that best suits you. If necessary, your session can be customized. Additional hours are $25 each. (Infants or pets may require additional time.)
Session I: $500.00- 3 hour session anywhere in the Las Vegas or Henderson area
- Up to 3 individuals. Additional individuals are $15.00 each
- 50 images of your choice on a disk.
- Every image will be custom processed and artistically edited.
- 2 hour session anywhere in the Las Vegas or Henderson area
- Up to 3 individuals. Additional individuals are $15.00 each
- 30 images of your choice on a disk.
- Every image will be custom processed and artistically edited.
- 1 hour session anywhere in the Las Vegas or Henderson area
- Up to 3 individuals. Additional individuals are $15.00 each
- 15 images of your choice on a disk.
- Every image will be custom processed and artistically edited.
Session IV: $100.00
- 45 minute session anywhere in the Las Vegas or Henderson area
- Up to 3 individuals. Additional individuals are $15.00 each
- 8 images of your choice on a disk.
- Every image will be custom processed and artistically edited.
Once you have chosen a session, please contact me via e-mail at celestev.brown@yahoo.com or telephone at 702-466-6122 to set up a session date, time, and place. (A little overtime is perfectly okay. If we are on a roll, we just continue shooting.) Since this is your session, my time is yours. I am always open to ideas and suggestions. If you do not have a concept in mind, I can help you plan the session and you will love it! Clothing changes are allowed and encouraged.
After the session has been shot, your proofs will be available for online viewing within 7 days. You can expect to view 50-100 images from your portrait session. You will then be able to choose your favorite shots for printing. Once you have chosen the ones you want, we will begin editing and processing.
You may purchase your images online, and you have the option of purchasing additional images. Each edited image added to your package is $15.00.
