Internet Study Resources These study resources are to help you get some extra practice with the fundamentals of Latin grammar. If you find an internet site you want to see added to this list, please let me know: deagona@uncwil.edu . Oxford Latin Course Drills: This is a great site -- reported to me by students! It is interactive and keyed to our textbook, so you can practice exercises based on our vocabulary and readings. I really recommend it. More Oxford Latin Course Exercises: Another great interactive site. This one provides some good vocabulary drills -- very detailed (though not including 3rd principle parts of verbs -- darn it! ;-) ) Declension of Latin Nouns: This site allows you to choose which declension you want to work with, and put in the endings for nouns randomly chosen from that declension. It will tell you if youre right and give you answers if you ask for them. A great way to practice your paradigms. This site contains a lot more information than you need to know right now, but it is a great place to go to see the forms of Latin verbs, especially the irregular ones. Since we dont have imperfect and perfect tables in our book, this is a good resource for that. A downloadable program by Dr. John Gruber-Miller of Cornell College, designed to be used with the Oxford Latin Course. Download it and if you need help with unzipping it, go here. A computer Program for Windows that lets you practice the fundamentals of Latin grammar. Download it and follow the instructions on its webpage for running it.Latin Grammar and Vocabulary Helps: A site from St. Louis University. Though its made for a textbook we dont use, there are some helpful charts and explanations. Know your grammar terminology (or this site will help you learn it!) Help with your Latin homework really! Many of the sites above are linked from the Latin Homepage, a comprehensive page for all things relating to Latin. Explore this pages resources, and if you find anything of particular help that youd like to see linked here, let me know: deagona@uncwil.edu
