JEFFERSON HOWARD SUTTON (b. 1913) studied at San Diego State College (now University of California - San Diego), served in the United States Marine Corps, and has been a photographer and newsman. Another part of his career was devoted to research into survival at high altitudes.

Found another copy. It appears H-026 is the correct numbering, so the Peters (1996) notation is either a printing error or an error in Peters (1996) listing.

His short story writing career started in the early 1940's. "The Lincoln Hunters" is probably his most recognized story.
