Irene is a second semester senior. She is interested in animal behavior and cognition and wishes to iether go into marine mammal training or into a graduate program studying marine mammal bioacoustics, marine mammal cognition or marine conservation. Irene is working on an honors thesis in the lab in the Radial Arm Maze where she is developing a protocol to test for episodic-like memory in rats in relation to the Optimal Foraging Theory.
