Emslie Lab

This fund, established in 2003, allows for interested public and private donors to provide a tax-deductible gift to the University of North Carolina Wilmington to support undergraduate education in ornithology in North Carolina and the local region. Funds in this trust will be used especially to support field trips and student projects for which other funding sources are not available. As costs for vans to take students on these trips increase, and as course budgets decrease, this fund is becoming increasingly important to get students out in the field where they really learn about birds.  The fund is managed by UNCW and Dr. Steve Emslie.
