Current New Efforts in Geoscience/Environmental Science Curriculum:
- Completing Earth and Environmental Courses for Pre-Service and In-Service Science Teachers                           
- Designing an Introductory Environmental Sciences Lab Course - Initiated in 2008
- Constructing North Carolina Geoscience and Summary posters for classes and for distribution to teachers

Research/External Work:
- Editor on AAPG Studies in Geology - Atlas of Deep-Water Outcrops  (.pdf of Intro may be seen here)
- Longleaf pine restoration, monitoring endangered species, site/soil characterization, photomonitoring
