Course Definitions

Instructions: Using on the course textbook define the following terms using the prescribed definition format. If the format is not followed the assignment will receive a grade of zero.

Chapter 10 Terms

sequential access, direct access, secure single sign-on, domain name systems (DNS), volume, consistency semantics, lightweight directory-access protocol (LDAP)

Format for defining terms: Each term should be placed on a separate line using the following format term (pg # of definition) - definition.
Example: bit (6) - the basic unit of computer storage.
