Computing Competencies for College and the Workplace Syllabus

 

General information:

 

·       This course requires a subscription to Cengage Unlimited. The subscription will give you access to a product called MindTap which is an online teaching and learning environment you will access through Canvas

·       Students are required to purchase a MindTap access code either from the bookstore or directly from Cengage.

·       Cengage provides a two-week grace period before requiring the purchased access code. See the Getting Started material in Canvas for details

·       To purchase an access code directly from Cengage, wait until you have entered the course through Canvas. Once in the course, an option to purchase the code will be available.

·       Many course assignments require Microsoft Office 365/2016 which is available for all UNCW students (see the link below.)

Getting Started:

 

·    Go to your Canvas course, complete the tasks in the Getting Started folder, then access the course material through the link called "Cengage MindTap/SAM Units" in Canvas.
