Calvin graduated from Wake Forest University in 2002 with a Bachelor's in Psychology.  He is Senior Research Assistant in the BEACH Lab, on an  alcohol myopia - sexual aggression study. He is also a consultant for a grant which investigates improving cancer outcomes for African-Americans.  In August 2004, Calvin received a Minority Student Achievement Award for academic excellence at UNCW.  He has presented at several major conferences  including the American Psychological Society, Research Society on Alcoholism, and the Eastern Psychological Association.  His research interests include the investigation of the role alcohol in sexual aggression and attributions of rape blame.
