4   Homework

All homework must be YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL WORK. Misuse of the computer system (including use of another person's account) is illegal, unethical, and will not be tolerated. The UNCW Academic Honor Code will be enforced. Each assignment will have a ``due date'' and those turned in after the due date will be assessed a penalty of 10% per day late.

5   Tests and Grading

You will have 2 in class tests on the following days:

You will have a final exam (details to be announced later) on Thursday, May 3 from 11:30 am - 02:30 pm in your regular classroom CI 1006. In general, no make up tests will be given.

You will have several assignments and one project. The project will be a team effort but project grades will be assigned individually to team members based on the individual's effort and possibly on a peer evaluation by team members. You will be required to present your project in class during the last two class meetings on April 24 and April 26, 2007. If your group fails to present your project at the scheduled time, or if you are absent at your presentation, you will receive no credit for the project. Your homework assignments will make up 20% of your grade, the project will contribute to 35% of your grade,  the 2 hour exams will make up 30% of your grade and the final will account for 15% of the grade.

Course grade: A = 90-100, B = 80-89, C = 70-79 etc. The upper and lower 30% of all grade ranges will be assigned + and - modifiers, respectively. For example, a 93 is an A-. There is no A+ grade.

6   STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
