Graduate Certificate Program in Hispanic Studies

For admission to UNCW's  Graduate Certificate Program in Hispanic Studies, you must prepare, in addition to the application materials required by the Graduate School, the following items:

(1) An essay written in Spanish in which you explain your reasons for wanting to pursue graduate work in Spanish.  These reasons may include personal as well as professional reasons.  The essay should be approximately 500 words in length.

(2) An audio cassette on which you are heard speaking in Spanish.  There is no maximum length for the tape, but a five-minute minimum is recommended. On this tape you may introduce yourself, describe a person whom you admire or describe a trip that you have taken.
