Spring Semester 2005

 

Earn 12-15 credits of 300-400 level Spanish by signing up for the NORTH CAROLINA CONSORTIUM FOR STUDY ABROAD* program in beautiful Santander, Spain.  Classes at the UNIVERSIDAD DE CANTABRIA.

The program offers:

--Semester of study on the campus of the Universidad de Cantabria

 in Santander

--Faculty director from one of the North Carolina institutions in the

Consortium* (The director for Spring 2005 is Ms. Melinda Johansson, UNCW.)

--Excursions

--Family homestay

--Lodging in Spanish home

--Laundry

--Three meals a day EXCEPT when on overnight excursions

--Airfare to Spain from designated U.S. departure city

 

 

Courses available (all classes taught in Spanish):

 

Required: Spanish Language (Conversation, Grammar, OR Advanced Topics) (3 hrs.)

 

You must choose at least three of the following (you may take all four):

--Spanish Literature (3 hrs.)**

--History of Spain (3 hrs.)**

--Art of Spain (3 hrs.)**

--Spanish Geography/Civilization (3 hrs.)**

 

Approximate cost for the semester experience: $8100.
