reference material and suggested albums
(home)

One of the more complicated aspects of this course is attempting to make the tremendous amount of source material available to you. I don't expect you to buy every cd we listen to in class, nor do I assume that you already own much of this music. In an effort to make this available, I've tried to choose works that are either available in the school's music collection (next to the DVDs) or in the public library. But I'm also making more specific compliations cds that have many of the songs we listen to in class or deal with directly in the readings.

Compilation CDs are available at the reference desk in Randall Library.

But if you are looking for something new to listen to, have a go at one of these.
