For your first essay, I want you to take one of the primary texts we've encountered so far and, using at least two supplementary reading materials (articles, Roberts, your own research) and focusing on just one or two scenes/moments/situations, write a 4-5 page critical essay. I expect a clearly stated thesis, use of quotation/citation, and a clear line of argument. As always, use MLA style and email me with any questions.
