implement new and evolving teaching strategies. In this chapter, you will gain
a basic understanding of how to integrate technology across the curriculum.
Chapter 6 presents curriculum standards and benchmarks for technology and
explains how to integrate this technology into your classroom.
You
will learn about the use of computers in computer labs versus classroom
instruction, how to identify ways in which technology can positively influence

·
In addition, they must contain material
which is acceptable and of professional and educational stature.

introductory page containing general information about you and your educational
beliefs and aspirations. This page must be saved as index.htm.

for those viewing your web site.
o
A well developed philosophy of education (at least
one paragraph) allowing others to quickly see what type of teacher you are.

and a brief summary of each.
What do you intend to teach in the school setting?

o
Insert pictures related to educating students from
the Internet (at least 1 animated image and 1 non-animated image per page).
o
Include at least five recommended ‘hot links’ for
websites as resources for your students and other educators (see assignment 2).
o
Insert a hyper-link to your second page, your third

The résumé should reflect your current job
status.
Please include any and all experiences with
children.
Please be sure to save the file as a web page and
attach a word document to the Google Site.

and 4.
·
Page 3 (Homework Page) – The third page should be
your ‘student and parent’ homework page.
