Chapter Overview

Digital media has the potential to dramatically change the way students learn. In this chapter, you will about the differences between digital media and multimedia, and their many different uses.  In this chapter, you will learn how to identify various K-12 applications, examine the uses of multimedia authoring programs, and explain why multimedia applications are important for education.

·        This project will be a well-developed lesson using TaskStream’s web-based six-point lesson plan.

4.   Hyperlinks created in your electronic presentation (linear and nonlinear)

a.   Evidence of at least one to some supporting sites on the Internet

b.   Evidence of at least one non-linear link to another part of your electronic presentation

5.   A variety of backgrounds colors, pictures and/or designs for enhancement of the presentation of your topic

a.   Evidence of at least one image downloaded, saved to your folder from the Internet, and inserted into your electronic presentation

b.   Evidence of at least one image downloaded, saved to your folder from the Clip Art, and inserted into your electronic presentation

6.   Must list all references – include all websites and texts you used in your presentation
