Project Unit 3 – Grant Writing and Budget Assignment
NETS-T 1b, 2a, 2b, 3d, 4b, 5a, 5b
You are to
find and complete a grant application for $2000-5000 to buy
technology/equipment for your classroom. I’ve provided a selection of websites to
funding sources to assist (see examples). The benefit of this approach is that
you have to seek the grant information yourself. Additionally, you can select
grants that are tailored to your grade level and content area. Drawbacks are
that grant applications may vary in complexity…be sure to choose those that are
not too time consuming. I encourage you all to communicate with others globally
about your ideas to increase your chances for success (as if you were actually
submitting the application).
