Software 7:
Recording
program to turn in assignments. If your computer does
not have a sound recorder which allows you to record as long as you want and
make MP3 format, I recommend the following free software.
Note: Microsoft office has "Sound Recorder" but it only
let you record up to one minute at a time and it will not create MP3 format
audio files.
Solution:
Or download a free recording software such as Audacity (see below. Also available at the WLRC lab at the Leutze Hall 253) and create/export as MP3 audio files (smaller files) and send them to me as e-mail attachments.
When you record with Audacity and save an audio file, export it as MP3. If you are making MP3 for the fist time with Audacity, it will ask for "Lame file" (necessary to covert it to MP3). You can google it and download from some other sites to keep it in your computer for the future use, or it is also available in the homework submission file on the desktop in the computers at FLRC (Leutze Hall 253). It will ask you to do this only once. After you convert/export it as MP3, you can send it via course Mail as an attachment. If you save the file as WAV, it will take about 20 - 30 minutes to attach it.

Vocaroo http://vocaroo.com Web site based (no download necessary). Audio can be exported/saved as MP3. Flash player is required.
