Use 中点(なかてん)・ (Ex. スミス・ジョン) to separate your first and last name.   (Press "/ ?" key under Japanese typing mode)

Academic year: (いま)、ノースカロライナ大学(だいがく)ウイルミントン(こう)の3年生(ねんせい)です。 

 

Major: 専攻(せんこう)は、日本文学(にほんぶんがく)です。

 

Where you are from/hometown: ニューヨークで()まれました (was born)、バージニアやミシガンで(そだ)ちました(was raised) Also you can say: 生まれも育ちもノースカロライナです。I was born and raised in NC.

 

 

What you like or dislike (food, drink, academic subjects) :

Again, please type (double spaced) your Self Introduction in Microsoft Word and submit it as an attachment using UNCW e-mail. Write in a paragraph (NOT like a listing as you see above).  Write about one full page (about 500 words) to get "A" grade and at least half the page (about 300 words) to receive a passing grade (use “Word Count” under "Review" if you are using MS Word 2010) by elaborating your content such as talking about your hometown, describing people (friends and teachers) or places that you visited during vacations and breaks, or courses you took during summer, etc.  Your final hand-written version must be turned in after you get feedback from me.    (Refer to the Calendar for due dates.)  

 

Now, you are ready to start the course.  Start working on the chapter 1.
