Daily Life (with Plain Forms of Verbs) and Frequencies Listening Practice 1

Listen to the audio and summarize the conversation.  Highlight the boxes to see the answers.

B is going to a department store today to buy pants by himself (hitori).  (B is annoyed by many questions from A. (Urusai = noisy, annoying; Tuskareru = become tired.  A is doubting about B's going out shopping by himself.)
 
A and B are going to Yamamoto-san's birthday party together on Nov. 6 (Sat.).  (B first says he has something to do on Nov. 6 but his plan was to go to the party.)
 
A is planning to make (tsukuru) Sukiyaki for supper tomorrow night.  B (Kenta) is busy but he will go to eat Sukiyaki.

Sukiyaki is served/cooked in a big iron pot so often it becomes communal affair to eat with friends!
 

Note: "ii jan" is a derogatory way of saying "ii desu ne/ja nai desu ka" meaning "nice!"

B dates every night going movie, karaoke, etc. with his girlfriend, which makes him tired.  He does not have money (okane) but his girlfriend is rich (kanemochi) and pays (harau/ haraimasu) (for dates).
 

According to B, the Japanese take bath every night but the Americans take shower in the morning, and they do not take bath much.
