*1 Note: When "demo" is used, the particle "wa" should be used with the
words which are contrasted/compared. In this situation, last week and this
week are contrasted/compared.
*2 The particle "mo" means "also." A is asking if B is going to Chicago
also this week (in addition to the last week)
*3 The particle "wa" is used since it is in the negative sentence.
Particle "ga" and "o" are replaced by "wa" when the sentence is negative.
*4 We practiced "hima" (which means "free, available") in the workbook.
*5 The negative question indicates "Invitation."
*6 You can say either "aimasen = meet" or "tabemasen=eat" in this case.
*7 When the ending of the -masu forms of verbs is changed into "-mashoo,"
it means "let's..." For example, let's eat = tabemashoo; let's drink =
nomimashoo; let's do = shimashoo; etc.
*8 The particle "mo" means "also." B is saying that he likes also pasta
(in addition to pizza.)
*9 A is saying that also A likes pizza and pasta (in addition to B).
*10 The particle "wa" is used since it is in the negative sentence.
Particle "ga" and "o" are replaced by "wa" when the sentence is negative.
