What is the role of the gods in the creation and destruction of the world? How does it compare to the role of god or gods in other mythologies of creation and destruction we have seen?

What are the central themes and images in the stories of heroes from the final chapter of your book? Are these stories similar to the Greek stories we have heard? How are they similar and how different? Do they have any similarity to fairy tales you may be familiar with? And are these themes/motifs/stories present in the popular culture of today?
