- Hermes is considered a trickster figure -- what are some of the "tricks" he
plays, and what is the evidence of his trickster's creative power? How does he
compare to Prometheus as a trickster -- it seems there are some essential differences as
well as similarities in the trickster role.
- Hermes is god of thieves, travelers, and businessmen, and he also transports souls to
the underworld and acts as a messenger for the gods. What are the connections between
these different roles?
