Tests and Grading

Four classroom tests will be given. Each test counts 100 points. | |

Homework will count (after scaling) 50 points. Computer projects will count (after scaling) 50 points. | |

The final is comprehensive and will count 100 points. | |

The total score out of 600 points will be scaled to determine your final grade: |
| A | 100-90% |
| B | 89-80% |
| C | 79-70% |
| D | 69-60% |
| F | 59% and below |
| If the course percentage falls just below a cut-off, the higher grade may be assigned. Factors that affect this judgment are the distribution of grades, improvement during the semester, and attendance |
