Description: The course focuses on German Expressionism is a literary and artistic movement that emphasized subjective experiences and emotions over materialist standards. Artists like Kokoschka, Marc, and Kandinsky, and writers like Brecht, Toller, and Lasker-Schüler gained significance between the turn of the century and 1925, an era of dramatic political, cultural, and artistic turbulence in Europe.
