Band Bios
Rick Olsen
Keyboards, Harp, Vocals
... as the band rhetoretician, he puts the "mean" in "meaning." In addition to his intellectual prowess, he is a hard core hoopster - he can hit the 'J' from beyond the arch and drop more dimes than a Salvation Army bucket with a hole in the bottom. A UNCW alumnus, he is now an Associate Professor of Communication Studies, serves as department chair and plays keyboards and harmonica for the band. Mistaken for Joe Cocker when he sings, Ted Danson when he has a good hair day and an uptight, Type A college professor when he speaks, Rick is somehow able to make it all work at the gig.
Bill Bolduc
Guitar, Vocals
Guitarist and band web-master (he's always wanted to be a master of something other than his domain). When not hammering on his axe (and mixing metaphors) he can be found dodging cars around Wilmington on his bicycle.
James Hunt
Drums, Vocals
Professor Hunt is the chair of the Management and Marketing Department at UNCW and his teaching and research interests are in consumer behavior, promotion, and the business of film. Believing that “we are what we consume,” James is a barbecue sandwich chased with a cold beer at a ball game. He enjoys hiking trails with waterfalls, naps, loud music, and crisp cymbals. James generates 3 lbs. of garbage a day. His current weight is just about right. He has read a newspaper today. Briefs, not boxers.
Frank Trimble
Guitar, Vocals
... vocals, guitar and percussion - professor in the Department of Communication Studies at UNCW. When out of the office and classroom and not on stage with the 'Boys, he can be found at a concert, watching Seahawk basketball, or in rehearsal for a theatre production. Frank is active on-campus and in the community as an actor and director. He's also written and directed original musical productions. When he says "his colleagues rock!," he means it.

Fletcher Norris
Bass
Fletcher is a "stand-up" guy who happens to play a stand up bass. Fletch adds a sense of style and elegance to the 'Boys with his fretless demeanor and fretless bass (which is the tallest member of the band). Layin' down the subtle backbeat makes Fletcher a welcome addition to the Schoolboys line-up.
