On-line equipment reservations.
- Open
and log-on to Outlook.
- Open
Public Folders (click on it)
- Open
Communication Studies folder (click on it)
- Click
on EITHER Edit Suites or Video Equipment Reservations
- Click
NEW at the top left of the page.
This will open a new dialog box allowing you to make a new
appointment.
- Subject:
i. Cameras:
Camera name & #; accessories; Your name, phone #, email
ii. Edit
Suites: Indicate the edit suite number you will be working on
- Enter
location of shoot. Leave
blank for editing.
- Set
start time and date
- Set
end time and date
- SAVE
and CLOSE. This will save
your reservation and will return to the graphic display.
- Be
sure your reservation does NOT overlap with someone elseÕs reservation
- Take
care to take the same equipment you reserved.
- You
may check equipment out overnight and over weekends.
- All
equipment must be picked up/returned between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Equipment
should be returned by 10 a.m. following an overnight reservation (unless
someone has made an earlier reservation).
- Upon
making your reservation, check the return day to see if the equipment is
reserved for the following day.
- Make
separate reservations for each day of a check-out that last more than one
day.
- RETURN
EQUIPMENT ON TIME.
- Edit
suite reservations are for 3 consecutive hours at a time. You must forfeit the edit suite to
the next group when your reservation is up. If no one is waiting to use the system you may continue
using it.
- Charge
all batteries! Charge them
overnight if you can. If not,
be sure to properly mount them on the charger.
- Return
all equipment to the proper location.
- LOCK
and DEADBOLT the equipment room.
- Never
change or delete someone elseÕ reservation.
