  3. innominate = 1 bone; pelvis = 2 innominates (right and left hipbones) plus the sacrum

  4. ilium, ischium, pubis (see Burns book for bone diagrams)

  5. a-d below:
    a.  innominate
    b.  patella
    c.  innominate, scapula
    d.  scapula

  6. inferior

  7. superior, medial, anterior

  8. medial, posterior (or medio-posterior or posterio-medial)

  9. they are all paired bones, and they are all parts of appendages
