1. csc344 is a junior level undergraduate course on computer  networks. The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to basic concepts in networking, including layering and tunneling, link layer protocols, multi-access protocols, routing, flow control, performance analysis, as well as current trends in high speed switch architectures. The concept of event driven simulations is introduced via the OPNET modeler package.

2. csc422 is a senior level undergraduate course on Performance Evaluation of Computer Systems. The aim of the course is to provide students with the techniques used in the Modeling and evaluation of computer systems, probability spaces and probability calculus, random variables and their distribution functions, the calculus of expectations. Markov chains; birth-death processes; Poisson processes; single queue; network of queues and their simulation. System simulation for performance prediction. Modeling concurrent processes and the resources they share. OPNET Modeler is used to model real networks for performance prediction.
