of the documentary film "A Spirit in the Land: The Amazing, Transforming Power of Local Churches."  This Pastoral Summit documentary
features some of the parishes and churches, pastors and lay leaders you will
encounter during the next three days.

This renowned theologian, astute social observer, teacher, writer is, by his own description, first and foremost a pastor. He brings his insights into the role of local churches in transforming people - and the world.

Theology on Tap. Martin Marty joins you in a sharing of reflections on the role
of churches, locally and globally.

Pastoral Summit Community Liturgy - St. Peter Clavier Catholic Church. The exciting
and well-known 60 voice choir and liturgical dancers from this African American New Orleans church will lead us in
praise of the Lord at the end of this, our first day together.

of Full Gospel Church of God in Christ, New Orleans, invite us to end this day in worship and the singing of
God's praises.

Another showing of the documentary film followed by an open forum of questions and sharing of Pastoral Summit
experiences with Paul Wilkes.

A Festival of Churches
Concluding workship as the Pastoral Summit Community expresses its thanks and its solidarity as we all go forth
to spread and live the Good News.
