Professor and Curator of Mammals
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests tend to focus on endangered and threatened species. I have published extensively on the evolution, systematics, and ecology of New World mammals, especially shrews and bats, but I am also keenly interested in rodents and carnivores. I have also worked with the nesting ecology of sea turtles. The following pages describe the types of research that my undergraduate and graduate students and I have conducted and who funds our research.
