B.  Brief essay: The following sentence is ambiguous, in that its relative clause can have either a restrictive or a nonrestrictive interpretation.  First, explain what it would mean under the restrictive interpretation.  Then explain what it would mean under the nonrestrictive interpretation.  It is not necessary to draw trees.

          Jesse hates rock songs(,) which have idiotic lyrics.
