 I
just started my DIS in Dr. Varadarajan’s lab. I am currently working on computational calculations of
different Me-Lex compounds in collaboration with Dr. Lee Bartolotti at
ECU. These calculations will
save a lot of time and money when it comes to actually making the compounds. Hopefully all of these calculations
will be finished by mid-to late spring and I can move out of the advanced
computing lab and into the Dr. Varadarajan’s organic lab. I want to thank Heather Hill for
leaving such good notes and working so hard on this project before graduating
and handing it over to me. I
also want to thank Dr. Varadarajan for granting me this opportunity and Dr.
Bartolotti for constantly answering all of my questions. If you can’t find me, try looking in the
advanced computing lab on the second floor of Dobo Hall. I’ll be the one constantly working on
the Silicon Graphics Computer (Dreyfus) trying not to lose my patience.
