Seminar Format

The oral presentations must follow the typical style of a  conference talk  and must be about  twenty minutes long. In addition, five minutes will be reserved for questions following each presentation.  The presentation topics are assigned (on first day of class by random drawing) and have Discrete Mathematics or C++ as a common theme this summer.

  • The slides must be prepared using Powerpoint

  • Each seminar presentation must have following structure:

Slide-1: Title slide with the title of the seminar and the name of the presenter.
Slide-2: Outline of the seminar, list of main ideas presented
Slide-3.....Slide-n: detail slide on each idea, demonstrations
Slide-(n+1) Conclusion
Slide-(n+2): References for further reading, and web links
