INDONESIA'S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
This is an Indonesian polling station (TPS) in Depok, West Java.
There were close to 600,000 polling stations spread across Indonesia's 17,000
islands. Each TPS accommodates no more than 300 voters. On voting day, we
were able to observe this TPS as well as a number of nearby stations.
The gentlemen in the white shirts along the right are the local election committee. There were also two guards to secure the voting (one is pictured here in the green uniform).
The TPS is open to allow maximum transparency for the voting process. Thankfully, it was also built around a little shade tree. (next image)
