In Fall Semester 2008, students in HST 573: Education and Interpretation at Museums and Historic Sites created and implemented a program titled "The Making of a Decade: Interpreting Politics and Culture in the 1980s." The program was designed to teach 11th graders how to curate an exhibit. The project included a web site, lesson plans, an instructional DVD and a visit to two high school classes at North Duplin High School (photos below).
